HATEBREED Explain European Show Cancellations

July 8, 2004

HATEBREED frontman Jamey Jasta has issued the following statement regarding the cancellation of the last four shows of the group's European tour:

"What's up everyone. We're home now. THANK GOD. We cut out tour 4 days short for various reasons WHICH ARE NONE OF YOUR FUCKING BUSINESS. Just kidding. For all you people who HAVE to know. It's like this. There were many reasons for canceling the shows. Many, many reasons but, the main is reason was I had to get dental surgery. So did Sean. We did over 300 shows last year. This year alone it's getting up there. Me and Sean's teeth are a mess. We don't exactly have time to see dental specialists on the road, ya know? It's also really painful to scream for an hour and a half after you've had teeth pulled. I did last year and it fucking sucked but for the sake of the fans I did it. This time around I had another wisdom tooth coming in but it was growing backwards (towards my brain) it was also causing me to bite my cheek severely when I would sing thus causing me bleeding and pain all day long and limiting my eating. So since my tooth was growing in the wrong fucking direction I had to get a specialist to get it out without tearing my sinus. I had it done yesterday and now we should be fine to start Ozzfest this Saturday. Sean had his stuff done yesterday as well. So there ya have it. Hopefully we'll be back in the fall to make up the shows we missed. Especially Bulgaria!!! See ya then."
