May 2, 2008

J.J. Hrubovcak (VILE, DIVINE RAPTURE, RANDALL FLAGG) will fill in on bass for HATE ETERNAL on the band's upcoming European tour, which is scheduled to kick off on May 9 in Wrzburg. The tour package also includes SKELETONWITCH and CEPHALIC CARNAGE.

HATE ETERNAL mainman Erik Rutan was interviewed a few weeks ago by Andrew Haug of Triple J's "Full Metal Racket" (based in Australia). Download the 16-minute audio file in MP3 format at this location (6 MB).

HATE ETERNAL's new album, "Fury & Flames" sold 2,300 copies in the United States in its first week of release, according to Nielsen SoundScan. The follow-up to 2005's "I, Monarch" is said to be the band's most diverse and emotionally fuelled record to date, due mainly in part to the passing of bassist and good friend Jared Anderson.

HATE ETERNAL's video for the song "Bringer of Storms" can be viewed below.
