HANOI ROCKS Announce New Guitarist, Begin Work On New EP

May 5, 2004

HANOI ROCKS have recruited DIAMOND DOGS axeman Steve Klasson to fill the second-guitarist slot left vacant by the departure of Costello. Photos of Stevie and the rest of the group can be viewed at this location.

In other news, HANOI ROCKS are currently working on an upcoming summer release — a single for Finland and an EP for Japan.

HANOI ROCKS' latest album, "Twelve Shots on the Rocks", was recently released in North America on Liquor and Poker Music. Joining singer Michael Monroe and guitarist Andy McCoy for the recording of the new album were three members of Monroe's solo band: Costello, bass guitarist/background vocalist Timpa and drummer Lacu.
