HADES: Pro-Shot Footage Of Reunion Show Available

April 27, 2010

Professionally filmed video footage of the HADES reunion show on April 21, 2010 at Dingbatz in Clifton, New Jersey can be viewed below. The band's first concert in over eight years was to be the first with the "Resisting Success" lineup since 1986. However, HADES bassist Jimmy Schulman was ill at the time, so HADES recruited NON-FICTION bassist Kevin Bolembach to fill in. Providing HADES' introduction that night was Don Jamieson from VH1 Classic's "That Metal Show".

Producer Jay Bones and Viking Digital Films filmed the Dingbatz show that will eventually become HADES' second DVD.

HADES' appearance at the Keep It True festival in Germany was scrapped initially because switching a ticket to Kevin's name was impossible but later due to the fact that the band's flight was ultimately canceled as a result of the effects of the recent volcano in Iceland.

Singer Alan Tecchio said of the reunion, "It's a damn shame Jimmy was in no condition to play with us. A lot of people were disappointed including, of course, us. We hope he is doing better but have no further information as to his condition at this time. Luckily, Kevin came in and saved us — allowing the show to still go on (at least in the States).

"I was able to grab a last-minute flight to Germany to play Keep It True with WATCHTOWER and I met many disappointed European HADES fans who wanted to see us play. Hopefully one day we will be able to jam for them as well. Until then, at least we have this great footage that Jay shot."

HADES' setlist for the Dingbatz show was as follows:

01. Widow's Mite
02. Leaders
03. King In Exile
04. I Too Eye
05. Exist To Resist
06. The Cross

09. Face the Fat Reality
10. Green Manalishi
11. Opinionate!
