GURD Confirmed For Switzerland's METAL DAYZ Festival

Switzerland's GURD, the band formed out of the ashes of the power-thrash metal legends POLTERGEIST, have been confirmed for this year's Metal Dayz Festival, set to take place August 4-6 in Pratteln, Switzerland. Also scheduled to appear the event are ANNIHILATOR, BLAZE, IN EXTREMO, NANOWAR, ILLDISPOSED, AFTER ALL and MOB RULES.

GURD recently completed work on their eighth album, "Bang!", at the Little Creek studio for a late spring release. The band have launched a contest via their official web site whereby fans can submit a photo to be used as the cover of the upcoming CD.

As previously reported, rough-mix versions of the new GURD tracks "The Grand Deception" and the projected title track, "Bang!", are available for listening at this location.
