GUNS N' ROSES Keyboardist To Guest On Boston's WAAF 107.3 FM

June 2, 2004

GUNS N' ROSES keyboardist Dizzy Reed will give an exclusive interview to Boston's WAAF 107.3 FM this Friday (June 4) beginning at 4:00 p.m. For more information, visit www.waaf.com.

As previously reported, Reed has confirmed the following East Coast dates with his "ultra-fun" band HOOKERS N BLOW:

Jun. 03 - Centereach, NY @ King's Club
Jun. 04 - Boston, MA @ Hard Rock Cafe
Jun. 05 - Attleboro, MA @ Jarrods Place
Jun. 06 - Hartford, CT @ Webster Theater

HOOKERS N BLOW (web site) consists of:

Dizzy Reed (GUNS N' ROSES) - Vocals, Keyboard, Guitar
Alex Grossi (BEAUTIFUL CREATURES) - Lead Guitar
Matt Starr (THE FLAMES, FASTMASTER) - Vocals, Guitar
Captain Curtis Longfellow (WAYLON JENNINGS JR.) - Bass
Troy Patrick Farrell (DONNIE VIE BAND, MIKE TRAMP BAND, GILBY CLARKE BAND) - Drums

Formed mainly as a way to get free drinks in Hollywood, HOOKERS N BLOW (a.k.a. THE DIZZY REED BAND) was put together in early 2004 by East Coast natives Alex Grossi and Matt Starr after Dizzy was called on to appear on BEAUTIFUL CREATURES' second record. "I have always been a huge GN'R fan," Grossi explained. "Having Dizzy play on the record was great, so we decided to take it a step further and put it out on the road. The response so far has been great; you forget just how big GUNS N' ROSES are, not to mention the fact that Dizzy has now been a member of GNR for 14 years.

"On our last tour, we would show up to the clubs and there would be a stack of fan mail from all over the world for Dizzy — it's pretty amazing"

HOOKERS N BLOW will be performing a mix of GNR favorites, classic rock standards and a few "surprises."
