GUNS N' ROSES: 'Chinese Democracy' To Surface In Early 2004?

GUNS N' ROSES bassist Tommy Stinson told the Boston Phoenix that after next weekend's gig in the town's Middle East venue — the final date of his solo tour — he will rejoin Axl Rose and company for what he says is the last bit of work on the group's long-awaited new album, "Chinese Democracy". "There's definitely a record, and it's definitely close to being done. And Axl's been super supportive [of me doing my own stuff in the meantime]. So hopefully the GNR album will be out early in the New Year, and my [solo] album will come out in February or March, and then I'll have all this new music to promote.
