Guitarist MIKE JELINEK Quits DREAMZFATE

November 4, 2004

According to ElectricBasement.com, guitarist Mike Jelinek has left the Florida metal band DREAMZFATE. Jelinek's statement on the matter reads as follows: "After five years and a couple of great CDs, I have left DREAMZFATE and moved to Scottsdale, Arizona. I just feel that everybody was going in different directions and without the support of a major deal, it was impossible to tour. [Bassist] Buddy [Toth] had put a ton of cash in and so did I, we weren't getting any support. I have no idea what the future holds for DREAMZFATE. I thank the guys in the band and the fans that supported us! I'm currently looking for a singer, bass player and drummer. If you are interested email me at [email protected]."

DREAMZFATE issued a self-titled full-length as well as a nationally distributed EP, "Pound That Rock", via Morada Music.
