Guitarist MATT DIFABIO Quits PISSING RAZORS

March 5, 2004

Guitarist Matt Difabio has officially left PISSING RAZORS. The split was due to "nothing personal so don't any of you start any crazy rumors," Matt writes in a posting to the band's web site. "The travel for rehearsal with the band and the fact that I cant be in El Paso all that often was just too much of a strain on both the band and myself. After I did the KING DIAMOND tour with SINGLE BULLET THEORY, I realized that being in both bands was becoming impossible. The good news is that Eddy [Garcia, drums] was thinking the same thing and the spilt is amicable.

"On the upside of all of this.... The RAZORS are planning a new tour (so I've heard) sometime in May 8th to June 1st. Also, Eddy is writing new material for the next PISSING RAZORS album that will be released by a yet to be named label.

"SINGLE BULLET THEORY is in the process of recording our new disc 'Behind Eyes Of Hatred'. It will be released by Crash / Pavement and we will be shooting a video for the track 'In Sequence' at the end of March. James Murphy (TESTAMENT/DEATH) will be producing and engineering and Matt Thompson from KING DIAMOND will be performing the drum duties.

"Thanks to all the RAZORS fans that dug 'Evolution' and I hope all of you continue to support Andre [Acosta, vocals], Rick [Valles, bass] and Eddy in their future endeavors in both PISSING and SPEED RAZOR."
