Guitarist MARCO SFOGLI In Pre-Production For DREAM THEATER Singer's New Solo CD

September 2, 2005

Italian guitarist Marco Sfogli, who is featured on the new solo album from DREAM THEATER vocalist James LaBrie, "Elements of Persuasion", has just completed a week of pre-production for LaBrie's next solo CD, according to a posting on Sfogli's web site. "It was a blast with Matt Guillory again and Brian Wherry; we had a great great time together. And actually we wrote a lot of cool tunes by jamming together," Marco writes. Check out pictures of the session at this location.

"Elements of Persuasion" is available now via InsideOut Music. Other musicians appearing on the album include Matt Guillory (DALI'S DILEMMA) on keyboards, Mike Mangini (EXTREME, ANNIHILATOR) on drums, and Bryan Beller (STEVE VAI) on bass. The CD also features a special guest appearance by fellow Canadian Kim Mitchell (MAX WEBSTER). Engineering chores were handled by James' old WINTER ROSE bandmate Richard Chycki who has done work for the likes of AEROSMITH, RUSH, and the JEFF HEALEY BAND.
