GUARDIANS OF TIME Part Ways With Guitarist, Seek Replacement

Norwegian power metal act GUARDIANS OF TIME have parted ways with guitarist Rune Schellingerhout. "He [Rune] wants to spend more time with his kids, and we have to respect that," the group write on their web site. "We have been through a lot together during his time in the band and he will truly be missed. We part as the best of friends and we wish him luck in the future." Rune will play his final gig with GUARDIANS OF TIME at the Elements of Metal festival at Verdensteateret in Sandefjord, Norway on December 4.

GUARDIANS OF TIME are currently seeking a replacement guitarist. All applicants "must be 100% dedicated to the band and preferably live in Kristiansand (or be willing to move here)." Send material to:

GUARDIANS OF TIME's sophomore album, "Machines of Mental Design", was released in Europe in late August on Massacre Records. The band recentl shot a video for the track "Faceless Society". Audio samples and more information is available via the group's official web site.
