GRIFFIN Film Video For 'The Sentence'

September 26, 2003

Norwegian metal act GRIFFIN have finished filming a video for the track "The Sentence". The song comes off the group's third full-length album, "No Holds Barred", which will be available on mailorder from www.hellionrecords.de beginning on October 30. "There's still some additional footage without the band remaining, but the whole thing is supposed to finished within a couple of weeks," the group write on their web site. "All Norwegian metalheads, be sure to vote for us if we get airplay on 'Svisj'.

"The filming took place at Trolla (Hells Angels),and was all in all a very unpleasant experience with fuses fucking up, temperature below zero, light problems etc. However, we believe that the final result is going to be very cool and very METAL. No pain, no gain, right?"

As previously reported, "No Holds Barred" was recorded at Skansen Lydstudio in Trondheim, Norway under the co-production guidance of CHILDREN OF BODOM frontman Alexi Laiho. In addition to co-producing the effort, Laiho laid down guest guitar and vocals on the CD, which is scheduled to be released in Norway through FaceFront Records.

Prior to hooking up with FaceFront, GRIFFIN were signed to the French label Season Of Mist Records.
