April 1, 2005

Greg Cherone (brother of former VAN HALEN/EXTREME frontman Gary Cherone) and John Bettencourt's (brother of former EXTREME guitarist Nuno Bettencourt) never-before-released Portuguese version of "Sao Miguel", is available for paid download via Greg's official web site. For $1 you can download it to your computer, transfer it to a player, or burn it to CD — it's yours to keep.

Greg Cherone recently released an independent, self-titled five-song CD featuring material that he describes as "edgy, classic rock."

According to Greg, Gary was heavily involved in the production and sang vocal harmonies on the CD, which also features the Cherones' kid brother, Mark, playing guitar on four of the tracks.

Greg Cherone used to front a Boston band called ATUNGA in the early '90s and later became one half of an acoustic duo with John Bettencourt . Nowadays, Greg is a husband and father raising a family, but he still finds time to write and record original songs.
