February 20, 2009

Italian dark metal band GRAVEWORM has finished recording the drums for its new album, tentatively due at the end of May. "Everything went really well and we are very satisfied with the result!" the group writes in an online posting. The band adds, "We will start to record the guitars on Monday... and so, piece by piece, we are getting forwards."

You can see photos from the recording studio at this location.

GRAVEWORM was interviewed by Metalhead TV backstage at the Chaos Fest festival on September 21, 2008 in Bucharest, Romania. Watch the eight-minute chat below.

GRAVEWORM's latest album, "Collateral Defect", was released through Massacre Records. The CD was recorded at Stage One studios in Borgentreich, Germany with producer Andy Classen (DEW-SCENTED, CALLENISH CIRCLE, TANKARD, OCCULT). The follow-up to 2005's "(N)utopia" contains 10 songs and features guest appearances by Maurizio Iacono from KATAKLYSM and Matze from THE SORROW.
