GODSMACK To Perform Acoustic Set At Benefit Concert

GODSMACK have been tapped to perform an acoustic set Wednesday (August 27) in New York at a benefit concert for LIFEbeat, an organization that promotes AIDS prevention. IGGY POP & THE STOOGES will headline the show, which is being presented by MTV2. GODSMACK currently are working on a full-length album of acoustic material, tentatively due in November. In addition, the band have announced two Canadian dates that will take place in the early fall season. The band will hit Centennial Hall in London, Ontario on Friday, September 19, followed by a date at the Kool Haus in Toronto on September 20.
