A 22-second "teaser" for "War of Attrition", the new video from New New Jersey metal titans GOD FORBID, can be viewed below (courtesy of MTV's HeadbangersBlog.com). The full-length clip will be released later this month.Guitarist Dallas Coyle quit GOD FORBID last month following an argument with his brother, fellow GOD FORBID axeman Doc Coyle. Doc said in a statement, "The disagreement [between me and Dallas] became angry on both sides, and he decided to sit out the tour the day we were supposed to leave. We later learned he did not want to tour anymore at all. Everyone in the band, including myself, was upset and shocked. For me, it's a lot tougher because he's my brother and I have a very close bond with him. We've done everything together our whole lives, so it's difficult to deal with emotionally but I understand he has bigger responsibilities at home to care for. I wish he would've handled it in a different way, but I am not angry at him for leaving if he is unhappy with our situation. I really hope he finds success and happiness in his future pursuits." Former DARKEST HOUR axeman Kris Norris will play second guitar for GOD FORBID during the No Fear Energy Tour with LAMB OF GOD, AS I LAY DYING, CHILDREN OF BODOM and MUNICIPAL WASTE, which kicks off tonight (April 2) in Phoenix, Arizona. GOD FORBID's new album, "Earthsblood", sold around 5,400 copies in the United States in its first week of release, according to Nielsen SoundScan, to land at position No. 110 on The Billboard 200 chart. The CD debuted at No. 2 on the Top New Artist Albums (Heatseekers) chart, which lists the best-selling albums by new and developing artists, defined as those who have never appeared in the Top 100 of The Billboard 200. GOD FORBID's previous album, "IV: Constitution of Treason", entered The Billboard 200 chart at No. 119 in September 2005 after shifting 8,300 units.
