GLENN HUGHES To Release Live CD From U.K. Tour

February 23, 2004

Former DEEP PURPLE/BLACK SABBATH singer Glenn Hughes recorded some of his solo dates in the U.K. last year for an upcoming live CD, tentatively due in late 2004/early 2005 through Glenn's Pink Cloud label.

Hughes filmed a show in Los Angeles on January 11 for an upcoming DVD and CD release through Frontiers Records. The CD will reportedly include a bonus track featuring Glenn on guitar. Other than Glenn you will be able to see and hear Chad Smith (RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS) on drums, JJ and George Nastos on guitar and Ed Roth on keys.

As previously reported, Glenn will play at the Hard Rock Hotel in Orlando on April 2. On drums there will be the one and only Chad Smith, while no other than Mr. Jerry Cantrell (ex-ALICE IN CHAINS) will complete this super-trio on guitar.

In other news, Glenn might do more shows with the rockband RATA BLANCA from Argentina this summer in South America. More information when available.
