GLENN HUGHES To Perform At Italian Festival

Former DEEP PURPLE/BLACK SABBATH vocalist Glenn Hughes will perform a number of DEEP PURPLE classics with Italian band CALIFORNIA JAM at the Rock In The Park festival on Saturday, July 17 in Arenzano (25km from Genoa),Italy. The gig will be held in an open-air arena that can hold 2,500 people. Opening bands include WINE SPIRIT and ROCK IT.

In other news, Glenn is "back in production on the new studio album where I am working with Fabrizio Grossi and Ed Roth laying down some trippy keyboards," the singer writes on his web site. "As I said before I will be taking the whole summer in between my shows and trips outside the country to complete this special album."
