Legendary Swedish grindcore merchants GENERAL SURGERY have been confirmed for the Obscene Extreme Fest, set to take place July 8-10 in Trutnov, Czech Republic. Other bands set to appear at the festival include EXTREME NOISE TERROR, EXHUMED, BIRDFLESH, BUTCHER ABC, NATRON, and KENT BROCKMAN.As previously reported, GENERAL SURGERY will be performing at Alcazar/Eldorado in Stockholm on April 24. Also appearing on the bill will be MASSGRAV. GENERAL SURGERY recently parted ways with bassist Andreas Eriksson. Andreas, who left the band "due to other commitments," is being replaced on a stand-in basis by REGURGITATE's Glenn Sykes.
