GARY MOORE To Issue Studio CD In September, Embark On UK Tour

Legendary axeman GARY MOORE will release an as-yet-untitled new CD through Sanctuary Records in September (not July 1st, as previously reported). Featuring a return to the power-trio format, with Cass Lewis (bass, ex-SKUNK ANANSIE) and Darrin Mooney (drums, ex-PRIMAL SCREAM) completing the group's line-up, the upcoming album will be “a lot rawer and 'earthier' than my recent blues and I'm experimenting with some new guitar sounds,” according to Moore. “I'm back with the Strat and you'll hear the Hendrix influence in some of the riff based songs which I haven't been known for.”

In the meantime, MOORE has been confirmed to appear at several festivals during the summer and has lined up a 16-date UK tour during October/November. The dates are as follows:
