FUNERALIUM Announces New Guitarist/Vocalist

French doom band FUNERALIUM has announced the addition of guitarist/vocalist Laurent (a.k.a. Pokemonslaughter) of MOURNING DAWN and INBORN SUFFERING to the group's ranks.

FUNERALIUM parted ways with longtime guitarist Berserk (ATARAXIE, WORMFOOD) in November 2008.

The band is currently writing material for its second album, tentatively due later in the year. "One new song entitled 'Deceived Idealism' is already finished and some other ones are currently in progress," the group says.

FUNERALIUM's self-titled debut album was released in the summer of 2007 via Totalrust. The double-vinyl version of the LP was made available through Ostra Records.
