FUNERAL Drummer Hospitalized After Suffering Heart Attack

Anders Eek, a founding member of Norwegian cult doom band FUNERAL, was hospitalized after suffering a heart attack on Tuesday, May 29.

While Eek remains in stable condition, further tests need to be done in order for doctors to decide the next step.

Eek will spend the next few days in the hospital, in accordance with the doctor's orders.

Although very fatigued, Eek is confident he will be able to get back on his feet soon.

FUNERAL recently completed work on a new studio album, "Oratorium", due later in the year via Grau Records.

The band's last CD, "As The Light Does The Shadow", came out in September 2008 through Indie Recordings.
