FU MANCHU: New Three-Song CD To Surface In December

November 14, 2003

FU MANCHU singer/guitarist Scott Hill has posted the following message to the band's official web site:

"We just finished the artwork for the upcoming 3-song 'Something Beyond' record [containing the new songs 'So Far Behind' and 'Something Beyond', plus the BLACK FLAG cover 'Six Pack'].. It should be out in December. Release date soon. It will be on vinyl and CD. The vinyl will be 1000 colored. I will have test pressings next week. We will have them for sale through the site. I just spoke to SPV, they are sending me the 'Go For It...Live' LPs this week. Not sure how many I'm getting. If it's a lot, we will sell them through the site. We are writing a lot of new songs. I think we have 20 that we really like. We are still talking to record labels. We are looking for a label that will be able to keep us out on the road. We want to have a new full-length album out by the summer 2004. We will be playing some shows in San Diego, Los Angeles and Arizona in January 2004. We are also trying to make it to the east coast. Australia is also being talked about. We will be doing some kind of record giveaway contest. We will also throw in a pair of Vans slip-ons. More details soon. We will hopefully have confirmation of a new project that FU MANCHU's music will be involved in soon."
