FOZZY Finish Mastering New CD, JERICHO Covers IRON MAIDEN

August 2, 2004

FOZZY, the band featuring vocalist Chris Jericho (of WWE wrestling fame) and former members of STUCK MOJO, have finished mixing and mastering their third album, "All That Remains", for a fall release through an as-yet-undisclosed label (the band were previously signed to Megaforce Records). Zakk Wylde (OZZY OSBOURNE, BLACK LABEL SOCIETY),Marty Friedman (ex-MEGADETH),Mark Tremonti (ALTER BRIDGE, ex-CREED) and heavyweight rapper Bone Crusher have all recorded guest appearances on the CD, which is the follow-up to 2002's "Happenstance".

In other news, Jericho has confirmed reports that he has laid down the vocal tracks to an IRON MAIDEN cover for an upcoming MAIDEN tribute CD. "It's true, I did sing the 'Evil That Men Do' for an IRON MAIDEN tribute record that's being produced by Bob Kulick, the man behind the 'Spin The Bottle' KISS tribute record," Jericho writes. "The song also features Paul Gilbert [RACER X, ex-MR. BIG] on guitar, Mike Inez [ex-ALICE IN CHAINS, OZZY OSBOURNE] on bass and Brent Fitz from Vince Neil's band on drums. Brent and I went to high school in Winnipeg 15 years ago, so that was a cool reunion! The track is gonna smoke and it was a blast watching Paul lay down his tracks...he is a true virtuoso!"

Upcoming FOZZY shows:

Aug. 09 - Cleveland, OH @ Peabody's Down Under
Aug. 14 - Toronto, Canada @ Ontario Place
