FORMICIDE: Complete Discography To Be Released On CD

October 30, 2006

Due Process, the new label formed by longstanding webzine Aversionline, has announced the release of the complete discography from one of Boston's finest and most revered late-'80s thrash metal acts FORMICIDE. The self-titled CD — mastered by Jeff Lipton at Peerless Mastering — contains 15 tracks spanning 1987 to 1989, totaling nearly an hour's worth of raw, classic old-school thrash.

Criminally short-lived, FORMICIDE's recordings have never been officially released... until now.

"Formicide" track listing:

01. The Omen
02. Perfect Race
03. Them
04. The Spell
05. Frozen Death
06. No Escape
07. Await the Awakening
08. Dead Man
09. Prey to Pieces
10. Dying System
11. Platten #2
12. Nocturnal Justice
13. Prey to Pieces
14. Dying System
15. Scientific Alternative

MP3 samples and ordering information are available at the Due Processweb site.

FORMICIDE was:

Roy Costa (bass)
Steve Reppucci (vocals)
Kevin Stevenson (guitar)
Eric Stevenson (drums)
Craig Silverman (guitar, February 1989 - June 1989)

For those unaware, members of FORMICIDE went on to form ONLY LIVING WITNESS, whose double-CD discography was issued earlier this year by Century Media Records.
