Former VEX RED Members Launch New Band

July 2, 2003

Former VEX RED members Ben Calvert, Ant Forbes, Nick Goulding and Keith Lambert have reformed as SCENES, according to Kerrang! The group's lineup is completed by vocalist Fraser McGuinness.

Says Nick, "We had no luck with finding the right singer, so we genetically engineered Fraser in Keith's lab. He's coming along very well."

Regarding the group's sound, Ant commented, "We've embraced the disease that was apparent within VEX RED and have spent six months nurturing it. We've grown up a lot and feel less angsty about things."

Jul. 16 - Northhampton, UK @ Soundhaus
