Former PITCHSHIFTER Frontman To Tour With PIGFACE

October 12, 2003

Former PITCHSHIFTER frontman J.S. Clayden will be touring with PIGFACE as part of their upcoming "United II" tour. The trek, which kicks off on November 5 in West Dundee, Illinois, will see Clayden joined by PIGFACE mainman Martin Atkins, Seibold (HATE DEPT.),and En Esch (SLICK IDIOT, ex-KMFDM). Other bands appearing on the bill are DOPE, PROFESSIONAL MURDER MUSIC and RACHEL STAMP. J.S. had previously contributed a track called "Insect/Suspect" to the PIGFACE remix album "Headfuck".

Says Clayden: "I agreed to do the 'United II' tour some time ago while I was still in PITCHSHIFTER and I feel it's only fair to the PIGFACE guys to complete the tour as that (no disrespect to [my current band] DOHENY!) I guess it will be the last time for anyone in the USA to see me perform as the guy from PITCHSHIFTER. I'm scheduled to do three tunes a night, one of which is slated to be 'Genius'. I will be taking out the recent [PITCHSHIFTER] live album (not yet released in the USA) and some cool shirts for the merch stall. I have asked the 'United II' Tour organisers if I can do some signings and meet-and-greets and stuff, so hopefully it's all cool with them. The tour should be a lot of fun, if you can, come down and check it out!"
