Former ONWARD Drummer Launches New Project

Jon Pereau, former drummer for power metal band ONWARD, has joined forces with members of BACK TO RUIN, BURY THE GIRL and DCU, in a brand new project. The as-yet-unnamed five-piece "has a catalog of songs that will used in upcoming sets as the group tours Montana and other Pacific Northwest venues," according to a press release.

Pereau played with Toby Knapp on the classic ONWARD albums "Evermoving" and "Reawaken" as well as other recordings. He is "very excited about the prospect of getting out and gigging with a great group of guys and playing new material," according to the press release.

ONWARD officially split up in June 2003 following a parting-of-the-ways with the band's record label, Century Media Records.
