Former MY OWN VICTIM Singer Launches New Band

October 17, 2004

Former MY OWN VICTIM frontman Dave "Sailor" Bryant has joined forces with former members of Louisville, KY-based metallers NEMESIS in a new project called SURVIVING THALIA. SURVIVING THALIA was formed in the summer of 2004 and was unleashed last month at the WLRS Fest. The members of SURVIVING THALIA are inspired by a wide variety of influences and sounds, the result being a blend of old-school hardcore, progressive sounds, South American rhythm, jazz, and old-school metal. The group, whose origins are said to be rooted deep in progressive mathematical metal reminiscent of FEAR FACTORY with a SLIPKNOT/MESHUGGAH twist, are growing into new musical territory with every song and every show. Check out SurvivingThalia.com for further details and samples.
