Former MISFITS Frontman Signs Solo Deal With HORROR HIGH RECORDS

December 22, 2004

Former MISFITS vocalist Michale Graves has inked a solo deal with Horror High Records.

"I am very happy to announce that I am a part of the Horror High family of creeps and am honored to be the company's first release," Graves said in a statement. "They have been and will continue to be the leading edge and supporter of horror rock. They have given me the chance to go back to my roots and write a collection of songs that I am so excited to get out to all of you.

"This opportunity has opened a floodgate of creativity for me," Graves continued. "I began writing on about December 1st and to date have composed 15 songs that Paul Lifeless and I will begin to record in the coming days. We will continue to work right up to my departure for Parris Island on January 10th. Some of the titles are as follows: 'Earth vs Spider', 'Dawn of The Dead', 'Storybook and Rhyme', 'Teenage Monster', 'Autumn Rain', 'Radio Deadly', 'Beware'.

"As for the old 'Web of Dharma' material, it has been recorded but the project was obviously put on hold in the wake of all of this. I will release it next summer upon my return."

As previously reported, Graves will play his final GOTHAM RD. show before joining The United States Marine Corps on December 31 at Connections in Clifton, NJ.

With regards to his enlistment in The United States Marine Corps, Graves had previously said, "My enlistment took place on August 25, 2004 with the full support of my friends and family. I will leave for recruit training on January 10, 2005 and will serve in the infantry reserve."
