Former MEGADETH Guitarist MARTY FRIEDMAN Continues Work On Solo Album

Former MEGADETH guitarist Marty Friedman's web site has been update with the following message:

"Marty was in L.A. recently recording some amazing guests for his new solo album, and with the tracks far exceeding his expectations, he is now back in Japan, and recording will resume in Tokyo immediately after his tour with Aikawa Nanase ends this month.

"The current issue of Young Guitar features a cover story and DVD with Marty and Paul Gilbert [MR. BIG, RACER X].

"Marty's second interview in Saizo as well as his second monthly installment in ASCII magazine is also on newsstands now.

"We plan to put up excerpts from Marty's daily newspaper column 'Marty's Japan is Alright!' in the Japanese section on this site soon.

"[On February 15] Aikawa Nanase new single 'Everybody Goes' English version (vocal direction by Marty) [was] released by Avex.

"[On] February 1st — major label debut single from new artist CLAIR, produced by and music written by Marty Friedman [was] released by Avex."
