Former MEGADETH Duo Guest On Forthcoming Country/R&B CD

Former MEGADETH members Dave Ellefson (bass) and Marty Friedman (guitar) joined Nashville recording artist Steve Richards at The Saltmine studios in Phoenix yesterday (August 11th) to lay down a version of the track "That Makes It Tough", one of the last songs written by BUDDY HOLLY. Additional musicians on the recording included keyboardist Jimmy Nichols, pedal steel guitarist Mike Smith, and drummer Mike Andrews. The song was reportedly recorded for inclusion on Richards' upcoming CD release Southbound Train, due later in the year.
