Former MÖTLEY CRÜE Singer To Publish Autobiography

Former MÖTLEY CRÜE frontman John Corabi has begun work on his autobiography, tentatively due next summer.

The book, which is being co-written with biographer Jake Brown, will offer a candid account of Corabi's life story, including his stints in THE SCREAM, MÖTLEY CRÜE, UNION, RATT, and the BRIDES OF DESTRUCTION, and will include interviews with family members, former bandmates from MÖTLEY CRÜE and other groups, as well as fellow rock and metal contemporaries.

In other biography news, author Jake Brown is also working on an anthology profiling the greatest rock/metal producers of the past 30 years, entitled "Behind the Boards: The Best Kept Secrets and Untold Studio Stories of Hard Rock and Heavy Metal's Biggest Hit Records (Told By the Producers Who Created Them)". The book features exclusive chapter-long interviews devoted to each producer, with completed interviews thus far including Bob Ezrin (PINK FLOYD, ALICE COOPER), Tom Werman (MÖTLEY CRÜE, CHEAP TRICK, TED NUGENT, POISON), Ron Nevison (THE WHO, HEART, DAMN YANKEES, KISS, OZZY OSBOURNE), Scott Humphrey w/ Tommy Lee (MÖTLEY CRÜE, ROB ZOMBIE, KORN, METHODS OF MAYHEM), Michael Wagener (OZZY OSBOURNE, METALLICA, SKID ROW, ACCEPT), James Michael (MÖTLEY CRÜE, MEATLOAF, SAMMY HAGAR), Andy Johns (LED ZEPPELIN, THE ROLLING STONES, JOE SATRIANI, VAN HALEN, CINDERELLA, OZZY OSBOURNE), Dave Jerden (JANES' ADDICTION, ALICE IN CHAINS, THE RED HOT CHILLI PEPPERS), Rick Parashar (TEMPLE OF THE DOG, NICKELBACK, PEARL JAM), and Mike Clink (GUNS N' ROSES). The book is due out (tentatively through Running Press/Perseus Books) in late spring/early summer 2004.
