Former HOBBS' ANGEL OF DEATH/EDEN keyboardist Talie Hélène has joined forces with celebrity Wiccan singer Wendy Rule to provide double-bass in the project ZAUBEREI. The band also features Rule's longtime musical collaborator Rachel Samuel on cello, and is said to be "a unique exploration of Witchraft and female power."ZAUBEREI will be playing a launch gig, dubbed the "Halloween Masquerade Show", on Sunday, October 31 at The Corner Hotel in Melbourne, Australia. Tickets are priced $15 at the door or from The Corner. According to a posting at WendyRule.com, ZAUBEREI's (meaning "magic" in German) music is "loud, dark and shamanic… a theatrical extravaganza laden with lush vocal harmonies by Talie and Rachel," featuring "strong beats overlaid with swirling dark strings."
