Former GUNS N' ROSES Drummer To Appear On MR. BIG Tribute CD

Former GUNS N' ROSES and current VELVET REVOLVER drummer Matt Sorum is one of the featured musicians on the upcoming MR. BIG tribute project, "Influences And Connections", tentatively due in Japan later in the year through Pony Canyon Records.

The album, the initial pressing of which will come in a special package including a bonus DVD, is being produced by Pat Regan (DEEP PURPLE, BLACKMORE'S NIGHT, KISS, MR. BIG) and is set to contain 14 tracks.

Among the guest musicians scheduled to appear on the CD are HEART's Ann Wilson on "Promise Her The Moon" (re-titled "Promise Him The Moon"),BAD ENGLISH/BABYS frontman John Waite on "Wild World", Glenn Hughes on "Alive & Kicking" and "Price You Gotta Pay", DOGSTAR bassist Keanu Reeves and lead vocalist Brett Bamroe on "Shine", Joe Lynn Turner (RAINBOW, DEEP PURPLE) on "Daddy, Brother, Lover, Little Boy", Donnie Vie of ENUFF Z'NUFF on "Green Tinted Sixties Mind", and Matt Sorum (GUNS 'N ROSES, VELVET REVOLVER) on "Crawl Over Me". Guest guitarists include Marty Friedman (MEGADETH),Steve Lukather (TOTO),and Lanny Cordola (HOUSE OF LORDS).
