Former EVANESCENCE Guitarist/Songwriter Produces CD For HANA PESTLE

May 10, 2007

EVANESCENCE co-founder and guitar player Ben Moody has been busy writing, producing, and getting ready for a big 2007. A solo album is in the works, as are writing and production projects for Celine Dion and new Billings, MT singer/songwriter Hana Pestle, among others.

Since April 2006, Ben has been co-producing and co-writing Pestle's full-length debut with Michael "Fish" Herring (PRINCE, CHRISTINA AGUILERA). The currently untitled album will contain 15 songs co-produced by Ben (including 12 that he co-wrote) and is tentatively due this summer. Ben also performs piano, guitar, and back-up vocals on the CD.

Hana Pestle's national live debut of the Moody/Herring-produced CD, with songs the three of them co-authored, will take place in Las Vegas on May 25 and May 26 when Hana is scheduled to open for COLLECTIVE SOUL for two sold-out shows at Green Valley Ranch.
