Former ELECTRIC BOYS mainman Conny Bloom is in Stockholm writing and recording songs for an upcoming solo project and the score for a Swedish movie. In addition, he has been doing production work for HENRIK LEVY and CRUCIFIED BARBARA, and recording with Swedish movie star/singer Regina Lund for the tribute to NATIONALTEATERN, which was recently issued. In other news, Bloom's projected live album, which was recorded last year, will reportedly surface through a Swedish label after the summer. Meanwhile, SILVERGINGER 5, the band Bloom formed with THE WILDHEARTS mainman Ginger, is hoping to start recording a new album sometime later this year.
