Former DREAM THEATER Keyboardist To Join JOHN SYKES On Japanese Tour

Former DREAM THEATER/YNGWIE MALMSTEEN keyboardist Derek Sherinian will be joining legendary guitarist John Sykes (THIN LIZZY, WHITESNAKE, BLUE MURDER) on his upcoming solo tour of Japan. Also appearing with Sykes in his backing band will be Marco Mendoza (WHITESNAKE, BLUE MURDER, THIN LIZZY) on bass and Tommy Aldridge (OZZY OSBOURNE, TED NUGENT, WHITESNAKE) on drums. The dates are as follows:

Apr. 16 – Osaka, JPN
Apr. 17 - Nagoya, JPN
Apr. 20 - Tokyo, JPN
Apr. 21 - Kawasaki, JPN

According to a post on Sykes' web site, "The guys are really looking forward to these shows as they always have a great time in Japan."
