Former DARK ANGEL Singer Joins Forces With FORBIDDEN, Ex-HIRAX Members In ELIMINATE

October 29, 2013

Former and current members of DARK ANGEL, FORBIDDEN, HIRAX and DEVASTATION have joined forces in a new band called ELIMINATE.

ELIMINATE's lineup is as follows:

Don Doty (ex-DARK ANGEL) - Vocals
Sasha Horn (FORBIDDEN) - Drums
Scott Owen (ex-HIRAX) - Guitars
Henry Elizondo (DEVASTATION) - Guitar
John Signorelli (SUBVERSION) - Bass

ELIMINATE is "fully engorged in the writing process with this newfound brotherhood" and plans to hit the touring circuit worldwide in 2014.

"The will to kill can be felt strongly throughout this newfound ELIMINATE brotherhood," Horn tells BLABBERMOUTH.NET. "Great people, great players, and seasoned veterans who thrive on the electricity of fans worldwide.

"Mark my words, we'll be attacking crowds on a global scale in 2014."

Doty is not involved in DARK ANGEL's planned 2014 reunion, which will include Gene Hoglan (drums),Eric Meyer (guitar),Jim Durkin (guitar),Ron Rinehart (vocals) and Michael Gonzalez (bass).

DARK ANGEL released two albums with Doty on vocals — 1984's "We Have Arrived" and 1986's "Darkness Descends" — before he exited the group and was replaced by Ron Rinehart (after a brief stint with Jim Drabos in 1987).

Horn, a former member of NOVEMBER'S DOOM and AVA INFERI, joined FORBIDDEN in October 2011 as the replacement for Mark Hernandez.
