Former CRADLE OF FILTH Drummer To Guest On New NETHERBIRD EP

Jönköping, Sweden-based death/black metallers NETHERBIRD have tapped ex-CRADLE OF FILTH/current NEMHEIM drummer Adrian Erlandsson to lay down the drum tracks for their new EP, entitled "Lighthouse Eternal (Laterna Magika)". The recording sessions are taking place at Studio Fredman in Hyssna (outside Gothenburg),Sweden and are expected to be completed in May. Songs that are expected to appear on the CD include "Beauty of Bones", "Forever Mournful" and "Lighthouse Eternal (Laterna Magika)".

As previously reported, Erlandsson has scheduled his first drum clinic of 2007 at The Drum Crew on February 6 at Queens Hall, Nuneaton, Warwickshire, England. Doors open at 7:00 p.m.; show starts at 7:20 p.m. £5.00 entry.

NEMHAIN, the band featuring Erlandsson and his wife, fetish model Morrigan Hel (a.k.a. Amber England),has uploaded its video for the song "Ana" to the band's MySpace page (scroll down). The clip was shot on November 12, 2006 at Bar Monsta in London and was masterminded by independent film company The Cry & The Chainsaw — the brainchild of director Amy Akkonite — which also features the band's guitarist Sam Hain.

NEMHAIN will enter the studio on January 15 with acclaimed producers Greg Brimson (METALLICA, RAMMSTEIN, BUSH) and Russ Russell (NAPALM DEATH, DIMMU BORGIR, NEW MODEL ARMY) to record a new song, entitled "Dirty Weekend". The group will also record a MISFITS cover on January 11 with Tristan McGarrigl for KEG's MISFITS 30th anniversary tribute compilation, to be released in February.
