Former BLACK SABBATH Frontman Lines Up Projects Galore!

December 25, 2001

Former BLACK SABBATH singer Tony Martin is in Italy at the moment completing work on the new THE CAGE CD, tentatively entitled Poison Roses, which is due to be released in the spring. Martin will then fly to New York to sing on the new RONDINELLI CD (also featuring former RAINBOW/BLACK SABBATH and current BLUE OYSTER CULT drummer Bobby Rondinelli and ex-SABBATH/WHITESNAKE bassist Neil Murray),after which he will fly back to the UK to start rehearsals for a small tour with THE BAILEY BROTHERS. According to Martin, “[THE BAILEY BROTHERS] have released their first album but have been let down by their singer so we've agreed to put a show on the road featuring Tony Martin, including their material off their new album which is kinda Celtic rock/THIN LIZZY-type stuff, and material covering my past including SABBATH, solo stuff, and the BLUE MURDER album that I wrote with John Sykes. If it comes off, it's going to be quite a show. Appearing with me and the brothers are a couple of guys from SAXON on bass and drums.”
