Illinois-based death metallers FLESHGRIND will be performing at the Xtreme Benefest at the Royal Oak Theater in Royal Oak, Michigan, near Detroit, on November 15-16. This two-day event will serve as a benefit concert for former TESTAMENT/DEATH guitarist James Murphy (who was diagnosed with a brain tumor last August), and will feature "some of the sickest and most brutal death metal, grindcore, and gore metal bands" in the world. Other artists scheduled to perform include INTERNAL BLEEDING, INTERNAL SUFFERING, GORGASM, DEVOURMENT, WACO JESUS, SUMMON, REGURTITATION, EXPLODING ZOMBIES, SPINECAST and many others. For more details, visit the festival's official web site at this location.
FLESHGRIND's performance at the festival will mark the band's first live appearance with new drummer Derek Hoffman (a.k.a. Dirty Sanchez), formerly of GORGASM, INCESTOUS and LIVIDITY.
