FLESH CONSUMED: New Album Update

June 12, 2013

California death metallers FLESH CONSUMED are working on material for their third full-length album, "Hymn For The Leeches", for an early 2014 release via Unique Leader Records.

Commented vocalist and founding member Corey Athos: "The lineup we have for 'Hymn For The Leeches' is monstrous!! Eric Cohen (bass; ex-ARKAIK) has been with the band since 2011. I love working with him and bouncing ideas off of one another. More recently, Shaune Kelley (DIM MAK, ex-HATE ETERNAL, RIPPING CORPSE) has joined FLESH CONSUMED on guitar and Brent Williams (ATROCIOUS ABNORMALITY, ex-LUST OF DECAY) will be destroying the kit. I will be handling vocals and putting together interludes like in previous albums.

"This album is FLESH CONSUMED on steroids. Extremely dark and heavy!!!

"There will be multiple guest spots, including Steve Tucker (ex-MORBID ANGEL) and Matti Way (ex-DISGORGE, ABOMINABLE PUTRIDITY, PATHOLOGY, HYDROCEPHALIC),both of which I have respected and looked up to for the better part of 15 years. We are currently filling a third guest vocal spot.

"We will be using various studios, including Soundlab (NILE) for drums and 16th Cellar for mastering.

"We are very proud to be a continuous part of the Unique Leader Records roster and to be back on fire.

"This album will destroy!!"

FLESH CONSUMED's latest album, "Ecliptic Dimensions Of Suffering", was released in September 2010 via Unique Leader Records.
