FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH's JEREMY SPENCER Ties The Knot (Photos)

June 12, 2016

FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH's Jeremy Spencer married his girlfriend Sarah Lopez on Saturday, June 11 in what the drummer has described as "a great private ceremony with immediate family in Las Vegas." The rocker added that it was a "wonderful day!!"

FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH guitarist Jason Hook, who called Spencer his "best buddy," wrote on his Facebook page: "[Jeremy and Sarah] are crazy in love and I wish them a very beautiful life together!"

Jeremy revealed in a recent interview that he was working on a new book that he said will be "just as crazy" as his 2014 autobiography, "Death Punch'd: Surviving Five Finger Death Punch's Metal Mayhem". Speaking with "Big Smash Radio", Spencer revealed, "I'm halfway done with the first draft, so it's in the infant stages. And it's just about from the day I got out of rehab up until now." He added, "['Death Punch'd'] was a lot of using and partying, but this is sober. But it's still crazy. I mean, there's been a lot of life that's happened."

Spencer told The Pulse Of Radio a while back how his first book came about. "I decided to clean myself up and I went into rehab a few years ago, and the day I got out I basically just started writing my whole life as a therapeutic kind of exercise," he said. "I was writing about a thousand to two thousand words a day. I would do it on tour, in the tour bus, wherever we were, and it started to shape up into something kind of interesting."

"Death Punch'd: Surviving Five Finger Death Punch's Metal Mayhem" hit the Top 10 on the New York Times Celebrities Best Sellers list upon its release in September 2014.

Spencer said at the time that he'd "received dozens of messages sharing how my story has inspired others to seek help or stay clean."

Spencer committed a percentage of his personal income from the book to support NAADAC, the Association for Addiction Professionals, which represents more than 75,000 addiction counselors, educators and other addiction-focused health care professionals in the United States, Canada and abroad.

FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH recently announced a new co-headlining arena tour with SHINEDOWN that will kick off on October 18 in Little Rock, Arkansas.
