FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH: 'The Way Of The Fist' To Receive Canadian Release In November

October 3, 2008

FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH — the Los Angeles-based band featuring ex-W.A.S.P. guitarist Darrell Roberts, former MOTOGRATER vocalist Ivan Moody (Ghost),ex-U.P.O. guitarist Zoltan Bathory, former DEADSETT bassist Matt Snell, and drummer Jeremy Spencer — will release its debut album, "The Way of the Fist", in Canada on November 4. The Canadian version of the album will include a live version of "The Devil's Own" and an acoustic version of "The Bleeding".

As previously reported, Finland's Spinefarm Records has set a January 19, 2009 European release date for "The Way of the Fist".

FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH's video for the song "The Way Of The Fist", which was helmed by the band's longtime friend, writer/director Sxully Essex (whose bread and butter is working on horror movies),can be viewed below.

According to Ivan Moody, "'The Way Of The Fist' is not quite a Shakespearian depiction of anger and revenge. This song was more my way of releasing all the pent up aggression I felt against some people who wronged me beyond the point of any kind of forgiveness or mercy."

FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH has just kicked off a U.S. headlining tour with IN THIS MOMENT, BURY YOUR DEAD, and ANOTHER BLACK DAY. The tour wraps up December 4 at the House of Blues in San Diego.
