FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH Forced To Pull Out Of ALL THAT REMAINS Tour

January 17, 2008

Due to concerns regarding vocalist Ivan Moody's throat, FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH has cancelled all live performances through March 7. Ivan has developed calluses on his vocal cords that, if left untreated, could lead to permanent damage. As a preventative measure, he has been advised by doctors to take two months of vocal rest and work on rehabilitating his vocal cords. All are confident that Ivan will make a full recovery and be back in top form in plenty of time for FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH's slot on the Rockstar Mayhem tour with SLIPKNOT and DISTURBED this summer.

The band offers sincere regrets to fans in the markets that they will not be playing, and promise to make all efforts to get to those cities during one of their many upcoming outings. FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH will miss their entire planned outing with CHIMAIRA and ALL THAT REMAINS in February and March and the following headline dates in January:

Jan. 21 - Sioux Falls, SD - Nutty's North
Jan. 22 - Des Moines, IA - The House of Bricks
Jan. 23 - Sauget, IL - Pop's
Jan. 26 - Kansas City, MO - The Record Bar
Jan. 28 - Buffalo, NY - Mohawk Place
Jan. 29 - Allentown, PA - Crocodile Rock

Fans who have already purchased tickets to these FFDP headlining dates can contact their local box office in the next coming weeks about rescheduled dates and/or refunds.

FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH were the featured guests on the nationally syndicated radio show "Rockline", hosted by Bob Coburn, this past Monday, January 14. The program is now available for streaming at this location.

FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH's debut album, "The Way of the Fist", entered the The Billboard 200 chart at position No. 199. The CD shifted over 5,400 copies via traditional retail outlets and moved another 1,400 units in digital downloads in its first week of release.

"The Way of the Fist", was released on July 31 via Firm Music, a branch of the highly successful entertainment talent management company The Firm. The CD was recorded at Next Level Studios with Stevo "Shotgun" Bruno (PRONG, MÖTLEY CRÜE) and at Complex Studios with Mikey Sarkisyan (SPINESHANK). Mixing and mastering duties were handled by Logan Mader (MACHINE HEAD, SOULFLY).
