FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH Featuring Ex-W.A.S.P., MOTOGRATER Members: Debut Album Delayed

April 2, 2007

FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH, the Los Angeles-based band featuring ex-W.A.S.P. guitarist Darrell Roberts, former MOTOGRATER vocalist Ivan Moody (Ghost),ex-U.P.O. guitarist Zoltan Bathory, former DEADSETT bassist Matt Snell, and drummer Jeremy Spencer, has pushed back the projected release date of its debut album, "The Way of the Fist" (American Royalty Records),to June 12 from the previously announced April 3.

Commented the group: "In a perfect world, the record would be available right now and we'd be on tour choppin' down a forest in your hood… but the rumors are true — unfortunately, the release date has been pushed back around 60 days (to June) for various reasons (contractual obligations, promotional deadlines, pending tours etc.) No worries... It's not unprecedented... Record companies change release dates all the time because of manufacturing or marketing delays... or they just simply want to line up the drop date with a supporting tour. Lookin' at the bright side, it gives ya'll a few more weeks at the gym to get ready for that moshpit."

"The Way of the Fist" was recorded at Next Level Studios with Stevo "Shotgun" Bruno (PRONG, MÖTLEY CRÜE) and at Complex Studios with Mikey Sarkisyan (SPINESHANK). Mixing and mastering duties were handled by Logan Mader (MACHINE HEAD, SOULFLY).

FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH describes its music as "true metal... undiluted, raw as metal was always meant to be. In fact, for FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH it was important that everyone involved at any stage of this recording was a diehard metalhead."
