FIREWIND To Support DRAGONFORCE On European Tour

August 1, 2006

Greek metal act FIREWIND has entered the national album chart in their home country at position No. 11 with their latest CD, "Allegiance".

Commented guitarist/mastermind Gus G.: "We certainly didn"t expect our CD single ['Falling to Pieces', which debuted on the Greek chart at No. 11] to enter the charts in such high position and now our album is enjoying the same success on the first week of its release!! Thank you all so much for supporting us!"

In other news, FIREWIND has announced that it will support DRAGONFORCE on the Inhuman Rampage Across Europe tour in October/November.

Commented Gus G.: "This is gonna be a great tour, I think! First of all, we can't wait to come back and play in the countries we've been before but we're also excited about playing lots of new countries for the first time with FIREWIND. DRAGONFORCE have been friends of ours for a long time now and we're very happy that we'll finally have the chance to share the stage and tour bus with them!"
