Finland's FINNTROLL have been forced to drop off the previously announced No Mercy Festivals European tour with CANNIBAL CORPSE, KATAKLYSM and LEGION OF THE DAMNED. The group's official statement on the matter reads as follows:"We are more than sorry to inform that we are forced to cancel the No Mercy tour. We are still searching for a new vocalist and we feel that it's only fair to the fans that next shows what FINNTROLL will do will be with a new lineup, not with temporary replacements. We are at least as disappointed as some of you for not being able to do the tour, but we'll hope that next opportunity to see you all along the road somewhere will happen really soon." FINNTROLL parted ways with frontman Tapio Wilska (SETHIAN, ex-WIZZARD, former session vocalist for NIGHTWISH) in January after "reach[ing] a situation in which we [found] it impossible to continue FINNTROLL" with their previous vocalist, according to a statement issued by the group a short time after the split. FINNTROLL recently completed a short North American tour with German thrashers SODOM.
