FINAL BREATH, JACK SLATER, JESTER'S FUNERAL Confirmed For Germany's DONG OPEN AIR Festival

FINAL BREATH, JACK SLATER, JESTER'S FUNERAL, LANFEAR and TOMORROW'S EVE are the latest bands confirmed the 2004 edition of Dong Open Air, set to take place July 16-17 in Neukirchen-Vluyn, near Krefeld, Germany.

SUIDAKRA and MY DARKEST HATE will top the bill on Friday, July 16 while VINTERSORG and DELIRIOUS will be the headliners on Saturday. A total of 18 bands will perform over two days, with tickets for the event costing only 15 euros (0.5-liter bottles of beer will go for just 1 euro).

On another note, the organizers of Dong Open Air have issued a special statement to all the BLABBERMOUTH.NET "junkies" making fun of the festival's name. They said, "Thanks for all comments concerning the name of our small festival, you made us roar with laughter — probably just as you did when hearing about the festival for the first time... Besides, we've really thought about the subhead of 2005, our 5th anniversary, to be 'Dong Open Air 2005 - longer, harder, DONG!' inspired by your comments."
